I emailed Mark and he called me to set a time to meet. He came on Friday and provided a quote. We scheduled the work for the next Monday. His crew arrived on time and ready with all they needed. They completed the work ahead of schedule. They were professional, cleaned up, walked me through the job on completion and did high quality work. Very impressive. It is a pleasure to do business with a company like this that puts the customer first and exceeds expectations.

I unfortunately had an awful experience with Mark McKenna. I was immediately comfortable with him, and he seemed very knowledgable and focussed on quality. As it turned out, we clashed on a number of items, and was very happy to see him leave when he said he was "done", even though I felt he didn't complete all that was asked of him. We exchanged 'opinions' on my expectations, and I then asked that he not come back to my home ever again. It was then that he followed up with an email listing what he hadn't completed (even though he had been adamant that he completed everything he was paid to do). I didn't allow him to return to finish, sicne as far as I was concerned, he said he was done when he was paid, there was no reason for me to trust him in my home again. It turns out we failed multiple items with my inspection (items that he assured were completed - sump pump, laundry rough-in, drain trap for bathroom sink etc.) Overall the team is clean, but in the end, their work failed inspection with the city of Oakville, on a number of items. I would not hire him again or recommend him to others. If you have knowledge of plumbing and are ok supervising, and can make him agree to accept full payment only when inspections pass - then they may be the right ones for you.

What can i say about a company and a gentleman like Mark Mckenna. I was away on business when my wife called me franticly at 9:00 at night. Water was pouring out of our furnace. Went online called a few large companies they wouldn't come out because Oakville is out of there night service area. Found A Mckenna Plumbing Online, called spoke with a young man told him I needed him now. He was out on a job but called his boss Mark Mckenna. Mark was at his sons hockey game when he got the call, left the Arena to assist my wife. Turns out my 6 year old son and his friend had put the garden hose down the furnace vent outside and when the sprinklers came on the water went into my furnace. Mark helped my wife clean up and left without charging us a cent just a few laughs. Thanks Mark, I hope this review helps you like you helped us that night
