BACKRACK INC was established in 1988. Based in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, Backrack Inc. is a private family-owned business, with roots dating back to early twentieth century steel fabrication firms. Today, we have dealers throughout North America who distribute and install our products. End users include light truck enthusiasts, construction and landscape contractors and a variety of comercial and government fleets.

Our mission:to manufacture pickup truck racks that offer the best combination of strength, versatility and appearance.

All products with the Backrack name are manufactured entirely at our facility in Oakville, Ontario. The steel tube, steel plate and flatbar used in the Backrack and accessory products is cut, bent, formed and welded by our employees at our factory. Our plant equipment includes the latest in robotic welders, computerized brake presses, precision saws and shears. State of the art manufacturing ensures consistent, quality products. The black powder coat finish on all Backrack products is from a supplier we have developed a strong relationship with over ten years, ensuring a quality finish on each product. Our warehouse in Buffalo, NY ensures our customers in the United States receive products in a timely fashion via UPS or common carrier.
