Bill Rechter’s legendary steak burgers (a full six ounces of coarsely chopped steak, plus Rechter’s blend of seasonings) are things of beauty.

But there’s so much more to this little shop: spatchcock chickens vacuum packed in balsamic, pesto or Thai marinade; gorgeous lamb chops sporting sprigs of rosemary; and hickory-smoked, honey-glazed hams that are spiral cut for easy serving.

Prime rib comes with a handy recipe card, and more convenient still are the one-serving beef Wellingtons and family-sized meat pies. The steak and kidney version is dense and meaty in a light puff pastry crust.

In the freezer beside the foie gras, customers will find a trove of seafood, including smoked salmon and lobster tails. Closed Monday.
